How Much Power Do You Consume?


The per capita power consumption in the country is among the lowest in the world at 918 Kwh (global average: 3,000 Kwh). While India’s per capita power consumption has increased more than 3 times in the last decade, there exist large inter-state and inter-regional variations which is most evident in the North-East where all states have less than one-fifth of the per capital consumption in the Western region.
